My name is Kenneth James, founder of Guardian Fire Prevention Training. I am a dedicated fire prevention professional and instructor committed to developing knowledgeable, confident, and highly skilled fire inspectors through practical, real-world education.
My passion for fire prevention is built on a strong foundation of education and professional experience. I hold an Associate of Science Degree in Fire Science and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Fire Administration with a concentration in Fire Investigation. These academic achievements, combined with years of experience in the fire service, have equipped me with the knowledge and practical perspective needed to prepare students for success in the field.
As an instructor, I hold California State Fire Marshal (OSFM) Fire Inspector I & II, OSFM Fire Instructor I & II, and OSFM Registered Instructor certifications. These credentials reflect my commitment to maintaining the highest standards in fire service education and ensuring students receive instruction that is current, relevant, and aligned with California's fire service expectations.
Throughout my career, I have conducted fire and life safety inspections, annual permit inspections, new construction inspections, code enforcement, and fire investigations. Every course I teach is grounded in real-world experience, allowing students to gain not only the knowledge needed to pass certification examinations but also the practical skills and professional judgment required to excel in the fire prevention profession.
At Guardian Fire Prevention Training, I believe quality instruction extends beyond the classroom. My goal is to create an engaging learning environment where students feel supported, challenged, and prepared to confidently serve their communities. Whether you are beginning your journey in fire prevention or advancing your career, I am committed to helping you achieve your professional goals and uphold the highest standards of public safety.
